As the new year gets under way, we are spending time planning for two trade shows we will be exhibiting at this year – The Surface Design Show (London 7-9th February) and the Natural Stone Show (London 27 – 29th April).
A show is a great way of showcasing our stunning British stone, speaking to a wide range of people who like us, have a passion for all things stone and find out more about what’s happening in our industry.
It’s a military operation and there is a lot to think about but at the heart of all our plans is one thought – what do the people visiting our stand want to see? So, we’ve come up with a couple of interesting features on our Natural Stone Show stand that we hope will be creative ways of drawing people to us but also best show off the quality stone on offer.
There is also a strategy behind each show. Lots of companies take a stand, pop up some graphics and hope for the best. To get the most value from any event, you need to understand who will be there, why they are there, why they would want to talk to you and when they do, what happens next?
With so much opportunity at each event and so many people that we know or who we are yet to know, finding ways to make your exhibition space memorable is an art. It’s not just about pens, bags and stress balls. It’s more about trust, being approachable, being engaging and being interested.
As the first event draws closer and closer, the finishing touches to our plans are being put in place and we are getting excited by the prospect of meeting lots of people and demonstrating how British stone really is the best. So, we hope to see you on our stand where there will always be a warm welcome.
